A CAST METAL BASKET: LOW RESONANCE Our speakers are housed in robust, specially stiffened cast aluminium-magnesium baskets.![]() The sensitivity and power of a speaker depends on adequate flux density. By choosing the right magnet structure, by careful design and by using Ba-Fe magnets of high Hc, we have created an optimized magnet structure with high flux density: FMS™ = Flux Maximizing Structure. The Farady-ring right under the gap decreases the effect of the current flowing through the voice coil on the magnet field. The vent hole allow for the heat generated by the voice coil to be dissipated; thus power-copmression goes down.
A SPECIAL VOICE COIL: LONG LIFE The bobbin material of the voice coil is made of KAPTON™ film, ensuring high rigidity and good heat dissipation (heat resistant up to 400°C). The lead-out wire is impregnated and made of extremely pur silver-coated copper ribbons which ensure high elasticity even after long use.In our TOP units we use ECCAW (Edgewound Copper Clap Alu Wire) to reach the perfect performance. ![]()
SECURE FASTENING: PRESS-SURE™ It is essential to use a fastening technique that's stable,secure but still easy to loosen. A significant disadvantage of screwing through the basket is that the holes are right next to the speaker holes, which means that the material becomes dangerously thin and may break.
